These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of floorprotakeoffs.com (the “Website”) and the services provided by Floor Pro Takeoffs (“Floor Pro Takeoffs,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). Floor Pro Takeoffs is based in Sugar Land, Texas, USA.
By using the Website, submitting a quote request, or approving a quote, you agree to these Terms. If you accept on behalf of a company, you confirm you have authority to bind that company. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website or our services.
Floor Pro Takeoffs provides flooring estimating and quantity takeoff services to contractors, flooring companies, and estimating teams. Depending on the scope in your quote, our work may include floor area measurements, material quantities, linear footage of base and transitions, and marked-up drawings or takeoff reports.
Unless your approved quote says otherwise:
We do not require upfront payment. Our process works like this:
Work outside the approved scope, such as revised drawings, new addenda, added areas, or alternates, will be quoted separately. If an invoice remains unpaid, we may pause or decline further work until it is settled.
Our takeoffs are only as accurate as the documents we receive. You agree to:
We are not responsible for errors caused by incomplete, outdated, unclear, or incorrectly scaled documents. If documents change after work begins, the price and turnaround may change.
We prepare every takeoff with care using professional measuring software. However, takeoffs are estimates based on drawings, not field measurements. Actual quantities can differ because of site conditions, design changes, drawing scale issues, installation methods, pattern matching, and waste.
You are responsible for reviewing our work, verifying field conditions, and making your own final decisions on bids, pricing, and material orders. Our deliverables are a tool to support those decisions, not a guarantee of final quantities or costs.
Typical turnaround is 24 to 48 hours, depending on project size and complexity. The turnaround in your quote is our best estimate, not a guarantee. Time spent waiting for missing information or clarifications is not counted.
We treat your drawings, specifications, bid information, and project details as confidential. We use them only to prepare your quote and deliverables, and only team members working on your project can access them. We do not share your project documents with suppliers, vendors, or other contractors.
You keep all rights to the documents you send us. Once your invoice is paid, you may use our deliverables for your own estimating, bidding, and project work. We keep the rights to our own templates, methods, and tools.
We will not name you, your company, or your project in our marketing without your permission.
These terms apply if you agree to receive text messages from Floor Pro Takeoffs, for example by checking the SMS consent box on our quote request form.
We do not share your mobile number or text messaging consent with third parties for marketing purposes. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Acceptable use. You agree not to misuse the Website. This includes uploading malicious files, attempting unauthorized access, scraping content, or submitting false information.
Website content. Information on the Website is general and provided “as is.” Links to third-party websites are provided for convenience, and we are not responsible for their content.
Limitation of liability. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to our services is limited to the amount you paid for the specific project involved. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits, lost bids, or costs of over- or under-ordering materials.
Indemnity. You agree to indemnify Floor Pro Takeoffs against claims arising from your use of our deliverables, documents you were not authorized to share, or your breach of these Terms.
Governing law. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA. We will first try to resolve any dispute informally. If that fails, disputes will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Fort Bend County, Texas.
Entire agreement. These Terms and your approved quote form the full agreement between us. If they conflict, the approved quote controls for that project. If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
Changes. We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date above shows the latest version. Changes do not affect quotes you have already approved.
